Timber Estate Pool Hot Tub -
The Hot Tub is integrated with the pool "Same Water" Each Hot Tub Session will start with fresh pool water and will take 10 to 40 minutes to reach max temp of 104. We recommend a “Session” not be more than 30 min at 104 degrees for health and safety reasons. You are welcome to run your sessions back to back, with a limit of 8 sessions per day or 4 hours max per day. During the time the hot tub is heated all pool pumps and heat will be isolated to the hot tub only, the Pool will no longer filter and circulate during that time.
The Pool must have time to circulate. When you exit Spa Mode the pool will automatically begin filtering as long as the Filter Pump is on.
Leaving the pool in Spa Mode or Filter Pump off for extended periods will result in a stagnant " green with algae" pool, which can happen within a day with regular use. A stagnant pool will need to be chemically treated to reverse the condition.
We chose this configuration so each hot tub session would be with fresh filtered water and be a healthier option than a ton of chemicals . An Isolated Spa would not shut down pool filter during use, but you would be using the same water in the hot tub over and over and this would require many more chemicals in the tub to try to keep the tub clear and clean.
Never let small children in heated tub at max temps.
